# Revenue sharing

> Configure Spirii to pay a charge station owner directly for the revenue generated on their chargers.

If you manage chargers on behalf of a site owner — a retailer, hotel, landlord, or any business that owns the location — you can configure Spirii to pay them their share of the charging revenue automatically each month, without you manually transferring funds.

## Prerequisites

Before setting up revenue sharing, confirm that:

* The site owner has a billing entity configured in the Spirii Business Portal
* The revenue split percentage or amount is agreed between you and the site owner
* The site owner's bank account details are registered in Spirii's systems

## Steps

    In Connect, make sure your payout settings tell Spirii to issue self-billing documents to Site Owners and that revenue sharing is enabled.

  <Step title="Configure revenue sharing">
    Revenue sharing amounts are configured on the Customer objects. You can define it as a rate per kWh or as a percentage. The percentage is a percentage of the Tariff defined in Connect and the rate is a net rate.

  <Step title="Verify the configuration">
    After the configuration is in place, verify it by checking that:

    * The locations appear under the correct billing entity in Connect
    * The payout recipient field reflects the site owner
    * The revenue split matches your agreed terms

## Important notes

* The CPO remains responsible for any disputes or contractual issues with the site owner. Spirii executes the payout split as configured but does not mediate commercial disagreements.
* If the site owner's bank account changes, contact Spirii to update the banking details before the next billing cycle.
